From May 2011, this website has changed to simply ‘Tomodo’, with the aim of providing news, reviews, photography and video of a wide range of musicians and bands – covering mainly the Surrey & Hampshire areas but also beyond.

Tomodo started in 2005, originally offering web design, graphics and some photography work. After studying photography at college, I picked up my first digital SLR camera and went forward as Tomodo Photography. Music has always been what my work has centered around, originally doing work for my friends’ bands and then going on to seek out and meet various musicians in the local area.
My services now include live music & promotional photography, portraits, video work and promotion. I cover a broad range of music genres and types of venue. From mellow acoustic singer/songwriters to loud & wild metal bands. From open mics at your local pub to established music venues and theatres.
I try to adapt my style to the style of the person playing, ranging from wide dramatic shots to close intimate shots. I’m a big fan of using natural light wherever possible, adding flash where necessary.
